I swear i must have broken the record for visiting this village post box for the umpteenth time last week. 4. A cute Valentine’s card from you know who. 5/6. If you’re visiting the Cotswolds, make sure you take a break at the Howard Arms. We thoroughly enjoyed their friendly service and delicious food. 7/8. I finished off a commission to design wedding invitations for classic and elegant wedding theme. 9. Mum hand-made a 60th birthday card for dad using speckled metallic gold and bronze leaf on a pearl bronze card. So very sweet. 10. ‘Happy 60th Birthday’ cake made from chocolate of course! 11. With our new range of Christmas 2012 card collection doing really well, we are now hard at work designing our Spring 2013 range. What better way than to get messy with colourful paint. 12. Max the chocolate Labrador say’s ‘Hello’!

My partner and i are house hunting at the moment, so it sure is a busy and exciting time. I wish it was as easy as finding a pretty bird house nestled in a tree, especially if they look as attractive as these beautiful images.
I came across a lovely creative website by the talented artist Claire Leggett, who made good use of her patterned paper by creating beautiful bird boxes. Isn’t this just the perfect way to display decorative paper!
I’m pleased to say that i’m not the only one attracted to ornate bird houses. My sister bought this bird house to feature in her home, and i love it.
My love of pretty bird house’s shone through in our popular ‘New Home’ card, which also features a beautiful display of patterned fabric against delicate painted blossom. Wish us luck for finding our own place!
As you might well know, i am slightly addicted to collecting beautiful fabric. There’s nothing better than visiting interior shops such as The Cloth House, and rummaging through a treasure trove of beads, buttons and lace in haberdasheries such as the famous Liberty store and V. V Rouleaux. I find them hugely inspiring for building on our greeting card collections.
We have a big wooden chest packed full of these beautiful fabrics, and found it such a shame not to make use of them. Here are a few pretty hanging love hearts that we created with patchwork fabric, and decorated with an assortment of beads, lace and buttons that we collected over the years.

Following the hype of the NEC trade show last week, I made a conscious effort to slow down a little this weekend…
1. I spotted some really pretty ceramics whilst window shopping. 2. We bought a bunch of cheerful Daffodils to brighten up our room. I’m so eager for the arrival of Spring now. 3. Orders were packed ready for Monday pick-up. The cute Elephant design is a new addition to our ‘Piccolo’ range. 4. I worked on a private commission designing wedding invitations for a bride and groom. 5. In love with the Jubilee and Olympic themed products in the shops at the moment. 6. Yes I am a self-confessed chocoholic! 7. We took an early Sunday walk with Max the chocolate lab, who loves to pose for the camera.

This was our bright and cheerful stand at the NEC Spring Fair 2012.
Sadly some buyers reported it difficult to locate our aisle due to a badly presented exhibition lay-out. It was such a shame to hear this following months of planning and build up. However, we did receive a fantastic response to our collections, and we have plenty of interesting leads to follow in both the UK and International.
Our licensed Spring butterfly and floral notepads and photo-album also caught a lot of attention, and we are now looking to expand our Rosanna Rossi range for 2012.
We met some fabulous fellow exhibitors whilst at the NEC, which made our week so enjoyable. Above are the talented designers Fay from Fay’s Studio, and Helen from The Farmer’s Daughter.
Also across the aisle from us was the lovely Diane from Bird, and John Austin Postcards. Thank you lots for your enjoyable company.

What a busy day! We headed to the NEC early Saturday morning to set up our stand. Luckily the roads were quiet, so we arrived in record time.
It really is deceiving just how long it takes setting up a stand our size, and with all the measuring, painting, sawing, positioning each shelf and building a bench, it soon became an all day job.
Last week my partner and I designing a brand new ‘Rosanna Rossi’ sign as a focal point for the stand. It took us some time to make, but i’m so pleased with our bold, shiny new sign. You certainly can’t miss it!
Rosanna Rossi is officially launching a Christmas 2012 collection titled ‘Twinkle’ at the show, which we’re extremely excited about. This will be our first Christmas collection, so we hope it will attract lots of attention.
There are still some minor jobs to tick off before the doors officially open at 9am Sunday morning, but we’re pleased the overall look. It’s bright, clean cheerful and feminine, which is what we wanted to achieve. I shall post lots more picture of the show next week, however if you’re planning to visit come and say hello.
